IT Business Analyst for Data Landscape Implementation

We are looking for talented people to help Luminor in building a customer-centric new generation digital bank. We need technical, ambitious and detail-oriented people to our Data Landscape implementation program. You would be acting as a bridge between business and engineers, working with both technical and non-technical audiences.

As a business Analyst you will be translating business needs to requirements, identifying achievable opportunities, applying analytical thinking to find the solution. As You would be working with emerging technologies, willingness to learn and grow is essential

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Data Landscape program, product owners and IT units to define, analyze, document and manage requirements;
  • Work with the product teams in designing reliable and easy-to-use solutions;
  • Lead and work collaboratively with teams during the analysis process to ensure requirements quality assurance and customer satisfaction;
  • Perform critical analysis on information consolidated from multiple sources, identify and resolve conflicts, and break down high-level information into detailed workable requirements;
  • Work closely with software engineers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven record of techniques to elicit and define functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools;
  • Strong understanding/skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing;
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics;
  • Experience producing product artifacts, including use cases, product requirements, user journeys;
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written, and an interest in working with a diverse set of peers and external developers;
  • Ability to be self-organized, balanced and show initiative;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills;
  • Strong team & individual player.

Nice to have:                    

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science equivalent majors or above;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional project team;
  • Experience in distributed systems and systems engineering;
  • Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g. Hadoop, HBase);
  • Familiarity and experience with common BI and data exploration tools (e.g.Business Objects, Tableau);
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, etc.);
  • Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools;
  • Experience using AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, Elastic MapReduce, Data pipeline;
  • Experience with database migration.
